Method and limits
Record requestAnimationFrame timestamps for five seconds and calculate 1,000 divided by the median positive interval. This observes browser rendering cadence, not a certified monitor specification. Power saving, workload, variable refresh, multiple displays and hidden tabs affect it.
Use a repeatable comparison
Record the starting conditions, change one variable and repeat several times. A browser observation is not a hardware certification or a prediction of match performance. Do not disable security protections to change a result.
