Measured bottleneck comparison
Compare repeatable FPS runs before and after lowering resolution.

Method and limits
Improvement = (lower-resolution FPS ÷ original FPS − 1) × 100. A gain supports investigating GPU-side work; little change supports investigating CPU-side work, frame caps and other limits. Neither result identifies a definitive bottleneck percentage. Repeat the same scene and hold every other setting constant.
Use a repeatable comparison
Record the starting conditions, change one variable and repeat several times. A browser observation is not a hardware certification or a prediction of match performance. Do not disable security protections to change a result.
