← PC UNIVERSEPRIVACYPrivacy notice for the current PC Universe release. Updated October 24, 2026.
You may enter PC components, build plans, benchmark results, repair notes and reminder dates. Optional private records also include game-library preferences and session estimates, exact driver observations, seller-claim evidence, completed-sale comparisons, cost milestones and cooling/noise/power trials. Selecting a known hardware term opens a local reference explanation without uploading the selected text. Signed-in visitors also provide a site-specific account identifier and account display details through ChatGPT sign-in. Do not enter credentials, serial numbers or sensitive personal information in notes or posts.
Guest projects and display preferences are stored in your browser. The gaming connection test stores up to 12 completed runs, their request timings and your optional connection labels/notes locally in this browser. The optional website diagnostic sends requests to this site endpoint. The main speed test starts only on click and sends download requests and generated upload payloads directly to Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical request data under its privacy policy (cloudflare.com/policies/privacy). Measurement and final-results logging are disabled in our configuration; Cloudflare still processes endpoint requests. Main speed results remain in component memory until you leave or reset the page; you can export them. PC Universe does not store these speed results or request browser geolocation. Hosting providers still process ordinary request data. Reaction practice keeps its latest attempts only while the tool is open. Clearing site data can remove them. Signed-in records are stored in the site database and associated with your site-specific user ID. An explicit import action copies guest projects to your account. Account records are not automatically public.
Posts include a selected English, Arabic or German language and may include hardware tags. Replies and votes are stored as contributions. A collaboration room shares its saved parts and notes with anyone who joins using its code and already has site access. Keep room codes private to intended collaborators. Opt-in hardware-trend totals and model groups smaller than five are withheld. Contribution signals describe the bounded current visible feed, not independent verification or an all-time reputation score. A community post makes the nickname, title, description and any included hardware snapshot visible to visitors with site access. Report submissions contain your user ID, the reported post ID, a reason and a timestamp. Reporting hides the post from your own feed. The owner moderator can hide it across the site. Accepted answers are chosen by question authors; helpful votes come from signed-in contributors and do not independently verify a claim. Delete your posts or all site data from your account controls.
The optional readable Windows export script creates a local JSON report only after consent. Review it before choosing to save a snapshot or import a PC profile. GPU drivers, drive capacity/free space and basic disk-health labels are reviewed before saving. Startup program names are optional, require a separate exporter consent and can be excluded from saved snapshots. Names are not a safety classification. Audio and frame-time CSV analysis runs in the browser. QR codes encode reviewed specs locally or link to a snapshot you explicitly share. PC passport links exclude private notes, account identity and purchase/warranty dates. Component links contain exact models, manufacturer and user-entered manual/support/warranty URLs; a warranty-review date is included only by explicit choice. Private notes, purchase dates and cable/device ownership are excluded. You may revoke either type in sharing controls. Build-photo uploads use image storage associated with your account. The browser processes selected images before upload; review their visible contents for private information. Uploaded photos start private and become visible with an explicitly published post. You can remove them from sharing controls. AI is not activated in this release. If activated later, the copilot requires explicit consent before sending a question, active PC specifications and an optional processed photo to the configured provider.
This release does not automatically scan hardware, read live temperatures, install software, or run advertising and analytics trackers. File access happens only when you choose a file for a named tool. The hosting and sign-in providers may process technical access and security data under their own policies. External manufacturer and publisher links lead to separate sites with their own policies.
Saved records remain until you remove them. Export account data or device data from Profile & settings. Delete PC Universe records and your community posts there. This does not delete your ChatGPT account or provider operational logs. Browser preferences may remain until you clear site data. Deleting all site data removes owned image objects and share links. Visibility decisions may remain with the deleted moderator identifier anonymized so deleting a moderator account does not restore hidden content. There is no dedicated privacy-support mailbox configured in this release; use the in-product controls for data export and deletion.
A public operator should publish its verified contact and any region-specific notices before accepting a wider audience or enabling analytics, ads, payments or uploads. This notice describes only the current private release.
